as random as is disturbing. definitely leaves you with a feeling of "what the fuck?" as tom stall (mortensen) turns out to be someone completely different. a nicely directed and edited film, with some awesome looking brutal violence. this movie is one you should see with caution, which might be obvious from the MA15+ rating attached to it.

surprisingly good. a low-level pimp finds his calling in hip-hop and makes it his mission to raise the funds to record a track and have it played on air. his "number one investor" and number one hoe (taryn) is an excellent supporting character and throug her we see the struggle of life as a street walker. even if you're not into hip-hop, this movie is worth a viewing. even if a little long-winded, the emotional peaks the film hits more than make up for that.

i could hear everyone in the cinema squeaming... i wasn't sure if i was watching a porno with bits of 'movie' in it, or the other way round.
for an example of what i mean, check of "Pirates XXX".
