ANNA FARIS & SCARY MOVIE 4

ever since the first scary movie film, i've had this thing for anna faris (pictured). and since then, a relative unknown has pretty much been thrown into the spotlight in roles alongside some of the most popular people in the business; with ryan reynolds in just friends, jake gyllenhaal in brokeback mountain, bill murray in lost in translation, to name a few. if any of you readng this know me at all, i've been working on a few stories/scripts that i hope one day faris will eventually play. that would be pretty damn awesome.

back to scary movie 4. i have to admit that the first two films in the franchise, with the wyanas' brothers at the helm, were better than the latter two, but the latest installment is still quiet enjoyable. war of the worlds, saw 1 & 2, the village, the grudge and a host of other recent films (and random and stupid outburts by certain celebrities) are all sent up in scary movie 4. anna faris reprises her role as cindy campbell and story continues from where part 3 left off.

there is pretty much an all-star cast with the likes of charlie sheen, leslie neilson, dr phil, shaq, bill pulman, carmen electra, and even james earl jones put their mark on the film.

honestly, i only went to see this movie because of anna faris, although i love regina hall's character, brenda in all four films, probably more in the second. my favourite line: "just let that shit mutilate her white ass and leave!"

cindy: we're gonna die!
brenda: well it would've just been you if you jsut shut the fuck up!

its little things like that that really make best friends :).

overall, the film made me laugh about 90% of the time. and even if a bit abrupt, the closing scenes are worth the wait.
